چکیده
Background Crinum americanum L. popularly known as lily is an ornamental plant that belongs to the family Amaryllidaceae alkaloids presenting with anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and inhibition acetilcolinisterase. The species Boerhavia paniculata Rich is a plant from the family Nyctaginaceae popularly known as “Pega Pinto” that produces isoflavones that have action antiinflmatórias urinary tract and with its concentration in the roots. Aimed at the production and accumulation of these substances in vitro, this work aimed to study the induction of roots of the species Boerhavia paniculata Rich and callus induction of the species Crinum americanum L through the techniques of tissue culture protocols developed cell culture for production of these metabolites and evaluate the qualitative HPTLC by these cells [1,2,5].

Sorghum is a wonder crop from physiological point of view. It is the most important cereal crop, after rice and wheat. The number of reports describing the use of transgenic Sorghum for basic studies in Biotechnology is still limited when compared to other crops. In one hand, the success of the transformation techniques is mainly dependent upon the availability of optimal protocols for highly ...

Scented rose species are very important in the genus Rosa due to their use in highly-prized essential oil production and as garden roses. The fragrance of the rose flower (attar) captured by extraction is one of the most valuable flavor and fragrance products. A comprehensive study of the papers published in the field of in vitro culture and biotechnology of these species, particularly Damask r...
متن کاملSomatic Embryogenesis: An Alternative Method for in vitro Micropropagation
Plant tissue culture is an alternative method of commercial propagation and is being used widely for the commercial propagation of a large number of plant species, including many medicinal plants. Somatic embryogenesis is a process by which asexual or somatic cells are induced to form embryos in culture. Somatic embryogenesis is a multi-step regeneration process starting with formation of pro-e...
